Yep. My cat is only four years old but every night when I kiss her before going to sleep, I wonder about her death and what it will be like down the road. And I feel lucky that time’s hand has me out of eminent harm’s way, but I know one day it will be hard. Bless you and your dog and all the years, and bless the time you have left with her. I hope it is good and that the limb scraping won’t be too painful and that there will be unexpected graces that hold you up during that time.
