Wow. Isn’t this the case. In my travels to India, Iraq, Central America, places like these… People are so engaged in the day to day and in connecting with neighbors, friends, and family, that it’s less of a turmoil in regards to existential wonderings. I do sense that all of us are human and we question and reach and yearn for more. but in these countries where there is less opportunity and luxury to self actualize, the individual being seems to be actually more fed by the network. The web of life. Stuggle and toil happen, often, but that sting is smoothed over with connection, giving, laughter..They are fed in their day to day tasks. Human beings are meant to be expended. Somebody told me that once. To sweat and work hard. When we don’t do this, we get listless.
