When you are in the aftermath of a break up, it can feel very lonely.

But all of us are all alone in our heads, anyways.

No matter how deeply and personally you try to portray a message to someone, you never really know what’s going on in their head. You only know what’s going on in yours. It’s the same difference, alone or together. You have your head.

My head’s okay.

That’s what I tell myself, as I pull up the covers to my bed.

I do miss the shoulder massages, though.
